The most meaningful things I created were never meant for recognition. Not everything needs an audience sometimes the greatest accomplishment is discovering a part of yourself you didn't know existed.

Ten minutes with Camilla

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to God’s guidance, unwavering faith, discipline, perseverance, and a genuine passion for what I do. I believe that success is built through continuous learning, hard work, resilience, and the courage to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. My passion for fashion and connecting with people motivates me to pursue excellence, while my desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others gives purpose to my work. Above all, I believe in staying true to my values, remaining humble, and using my talents to serve and inspire others.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to remain resilient, embrace continuous learning, and never stop striving to become better than I was yesterday.

I’ve learned that success is not about perfection, but about consistency, perseverance, and the willingness to grow through every challenge.

Every experience, whether a success or a setback, is an opportunity to learn, evolve, and become a stronger professional and a better person. Staying authentic, being open to new perspectives, and approaching everything with passion and purpose have been essential lessons throughout my career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the fashion industry is to believe in their unique talents, stay true to their values, and never stop learning. Fashion is an industry that constantly evolves, so creativity, adaptability, and a willingness to grow are essential. Don’t be afraid to bring your own perspective, take initiative, and embrace opportunities that challenge you.

Build meaningful relationships, lead with integrity, and remember that your character is just as important as your professional achievements. Use your gifts and talents not only to build a successful career but also to inspire and make a positive impact on others.

Above all, stay grounded in your faith, trust the process, and never give up on your purpose. Success is not about becoming someone else; it’s about discovering your strengths and having the courage to use them.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide both my personal and professional life are faith, family, integrity, and excellence. My faith is the foundation of who I am, guiding my decisions, strengthening my character, and reminding me to approach everything with purpose and gratitude. Family keeps me grounded and inspires me to lead by example.

I believe that true success is not defined solely by accomplishments, but by the character we demonstrate, the relationships we build, and the positive impact we have on others. In my professional life, I strive for excellence through dedication, creativity, continuous growth, and a genuine commitment to serving people.

Above all, I believe in staying authentic, treating others with respect, and allowing my values to be reflected in everything I do.
