Her Interview

Ten minutes with Camille

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would have to contribute my success to the mother that molded me and shaped me into the strong independent individual that I am and also the university that I came from which was Tennessee State University in Nashville Tennessee they just bred into me a knowing of who I am and making sure that I understood my own value and self-worth. And that has always taken precedent and that's what pushes me forward. And knowing that I am I have enough value within myself and can help someone else that's not feeling that necessarily in themselves. I always say that I see hear and speak for those that aren't seen or heard typically or felt that they're not seen or heard. Don't be invisible.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

What I would say to her is never stop learning. Because knowledge brings you influence and it puts your name in rooms that you may not physically be in yet. The knowledge and expertise behind you is going to just strengthen not only you but your presence. Never stop. And move forward. Just move forward. Keep your feet moving keep your head up and know your worth. Understand your worth and your value.
