Her Interview

Ten minutes with Camryn

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Utilize the visibility of being a woman in this male-dominated industry to your advantage. We are transforming the way these spaces look and feel- adding sophistication, fresh perspectives, and willingness to challenge long-standing norms. Take pride in being a part of this community and use your diversity to lead with style.

Also, don't be afraid to seek out mentorship. We are nothing without the veterans in this community, and in my experience, they are always willing to put the younger generations in positions to succeed.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Trade policies create significant headwinds. Tariffs on imported scrap, retaliatory measures, and shifting trade agreements directly impact margins and market access. This macroeconomic volatility makes long-term planning extraordinarily difficult and requires constant monitoring of political developments alongside market fundamentals.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Coming from a family-owned business, I understand that legacy matters. It's about what you build, how you treat people, and what you leave behind—whether that's a thriving company, strong relationships, or a positive impact on your community.

Also- integrity, transparency, adaptability, and always a relationship-centered approach
