Camryn Crawford
Camryn Crawford is a Lease-Up Specialist at Cardinal Group Companies in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where she manages leasing activities, marketing initiatives, prospect outreach, and property tours for a local apartment community. While the property offers bed-space rentals, it is not strictly student housing, and she works to rent units to all qualified individuals. In her role, Camryn applies her skills in property management and customer service to create positive resident experiences and support the successful launch of new communities.
A full-time college student at the University of Arkansas, Camryn is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Sociology and is an active member of the Kappa Delta Zeta Gamma chapter. She balances her academic coursework with her professional responsibilities, including her role as a community assistant, which she identifies as her most notable achievement to date. Camryn also mentors interns, demonstrating leadership and a commitment to supporting others in their professional growth.
Looking ahead, Camryn plans to attend law school with a focus on real estate or corporate law, noting that her criminology background provides a strong foundation for law school admission. She attributes her success to her ability to balance work, school, and extracurricular involvement, as well as the mentorship of industry professionals such as her former property manager, Avery Khalil. Camryn’s dedication, professionalism, and passion for community engagement continue to guide her growth in the real estate and property management field.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my ability to balance work, school, and social activities, including my active involvement in my sorority. I have been fortunate to have mentors, such as my former property manager, Avery Khalil, who inspired me to pursue a career in this field. Despite my relatively early stage in the industry, I take pride in mentoring interns and helping guide their professional growth, which has been both rewarding and enriching for my own development.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering this industry to trust their instincts and stay confident in their decisions. Equally important is finding a balance between work and education, ensuring that both professional growth and personal development are nurtured along the way.
