Candace Covington is a dynamic professional fitness trainer, motivator, mindset coach, and holistic ambassador with more than 20 years of experience in the dance and fitness industry. Her career began with competitive dance in high school and formal training as a dance major at Lane Community College, where she earned an Associate of Arts degree with a minor in Communications. Candace went on to perform at the professional level with NBA and NHL dance teams, most notably the Sacramento Kings and the Florida Panthers. These opportunities allowed her to travel extensively across the United States and internationally, including a memorable tour to Iraq and Kuwait, where she performed for U.S. troops—an experience that deepened her appreciation for service, sacrifice, and global community.

Following her professional dance career, Candace transitioned into fitness and wellness, becoming an original coach with Orangetheory Fitness and earning certifications in group personal training, Pilates, yoga, and kickboxing. A life-altering incident seven years ago required extensive physical therapy and challenged her both physically and mentally. Through faith, perseverance, and disciplined rehabilitation, she emerged with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection. This pivotal chapter shaped her coaching philosophy, strengthening her ability to lead with empathy, resilience, and intention while helping others overcome physical and mental barriers.

Currently, Candace works with four organizations, often balancing multiple roles on any given day. Her professional responsibilities include teaching group fitness, Pilates, dance, and personal training to clients ranging from children to adults. Known for her energy, positivity, and ability to inspire, she creates inclusive, motivating environments that encourage growth and confidence. Outside of her professional work, Candace is an avid reader and journaler who enjoys hiking and adventure, and she is a proud dog mom to Timber Eileen, her registered service animal. Through movement, mindset, and meaningful connection, Candace continues to make a lasting impact on the lives she serves.
