Candice Mattson is a licensed esthetician and entrepreneur based in Mission Viejo, California, and the founder of OC SKIN AND WAX, a neighborhood mini-spa dedicated to personalized skincare and professional waxing services. With a background in corporate human resources and finance, Candice transitioned into the beauty and wellness industry to pursue her passion for aesthetics and helping clients look and feel their best. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Economics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and completed her esthetics training at Saddleback Beauty Academy.

At OC SKIN AND WAX, Candice specializes in Brazilian and bikini waxing, customized skincare treatments, HydroDiamond services, chemical peels, and dermaplaning. She is committed to providing effective, results-oriented treatments using high-quality, science-backed skincare products and cruelty-free, hypoallergenic waxing formulas designed to minimize irritation. Her professional credentials include certifications in empowering aesthetics, advanced chemical peels, brow intensification, and sanitation practices. Drawing on her previous experience in human resources management, Candice combines strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a client-centered approach that emphasizes comfort, trust, and individualized care.

Before establishing her business in February 2023, Candice held human resources positions with Extra Space Storage, Levity Entertainment Group, and SLS Las Vegas, where she developed expertise in employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, and organizational development. This corporate experience has helped her build and manage her own business while fostering meaningful relationships with her clients. Beyond her professional endeavors, Candice has demonstrated a commitment to community service through volunteer work with Second Harvest and Three Square Food Bank. Through OC SKIN AND WAX, she continues to combine her entrepreneurial drive with her passion for beauty and wellness, creating a welcoming environment where clients can feel confident, comfortable, and cared for.
