About Candice
Candice Nicholson- Gaddy is a Strategic Growth Architect, entrepreneur, and advisor who helps growth-stage leaders and organizations scale with clarity, structure, and sustainable systems. She is the Founder and Lead Consultant of ACE (Allegiant Commercial Expert LLC), where she partners with executives and founders to align strategy, optimize revenue operations, and build scalable partnership and workflow systems that translate vision into executable business models.
Her career spans more than two decades across global enterprise and advisory roles. She previously held leadership positions in finance, governance, and transformation at organizations such as Procter & Gamble, Chiquita, and Sealed Air, where she specialized in revenue operations, risk management, and global process optimization. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Master’s in Human Services with executive leadership focus from Liberty University. She is also the Founder of I BELIEVE ORGANIZATION, advancing healthcare advocacy and digital literacy initiatives, and has served in civic leadership through the City of Charlotte Business Inclusion Advisory Committee.
A defining element of her leadership approach is the integration of strategy, systems, and human-centered impact. After overcoming a life-altering post-partum stroke and brain hemorrhage, she reframed her philosophy of growth to prioritize sustainability, alignment, and purpose over speed. Today, she is widely recognized for her principle that “time is your most valuable asset and relationships are your most valuable currency,” which underpins her work in helping leaders build scalable, resilient organizations that expand impact without sacrificing well-being or clarity.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Candice
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to continual growth, adaptability, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Throughout my career, I have been able to identify patterns, align people around a shared vision, and strategically connect individuals, opportunities, and systems to create meaningful results. My faith, resilience, and purpose-driven approach to leadership have been foundational to both my personal and professional journey, particularly through seasons of challenge and transformation. These experiences have strengthened my ability to lead with empathy, build authentic relationships, and help others turn vision into sustainable impact.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of the best pieces of career advice I have received is that my biggest competition is myself. Rather than comparing my journey to others, I focus on becoming the best version of myself through continuous learning, personal growth, and intentional action. I have found that when I stay committed to serving others, building meaningful relationships, and growing each day, success becomes a natural byproduct of the value I create.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to remain true to themselves while staying flexible, agile, and open to growth. Ask questions confidently, seek out mentors and meaningful relationships, and commit to continuous learning. Competence grows through curiosity, consistency, and courage. The more you understand yourself, your values, and the impact you want to make, the better prepared you will be to recognize the right opportunities and walk through the right doors.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field is helping individuals and organizations navigate an increasingly complex landscape of information, opportunities, and resources. Too often, people operate in silos, lack awareness of available support, or struggle to connect strategy with execution. There is also a continued need to expand digital literacy, workforce readiness, and equitable access to opportunities.
At the same time, the opportunity is tremendous. By strengthening collaboration across sectors, building more connected ecosystems, and leveraging technology intentionally, we can create pathways that help people and organizations align more effectively, connect to the right opportunities and systems, and expand their impact. I believe the future belongs to those who can bridge relationships, resources, and innovation to drive meaningful and sustainable growth.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me are faith, trust, authentic communication, and service. I believe trust is the foundation of every meaningful relationship, while authentic communication creates clarity, alignment, and accountability. I strive to lead with integrity, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others succeed. These values guide how I build relationships, navigate challenges, create opportunities, and serve both my community and the organizations I support.
