About Candice

Candice Tadlock is a healthcare operations leader with experience in patient access, revenue cycle management, and pre-access operations. She currently serves as Regional Director of Operations at AdventHealth, where she leads the Rocky Mountain Region Consumer Experience Center, a role she assumed in June. Prior to this, she served as Regional Manager at AdventHealth. She spent a significant portion of her career at Centura Health, holding progressively senior roles including Manager of Pre-Access, Patient Access Supervisor, Patient Access Coordinator, Financial Counselor, and Patient Registrar. Tadlock has demonstrated expertise in team management, change management, insurance verification, staff training, and process improvement. She played a key role in establishing standardized training manuals and insurance procedures across multiple facilities. She holds the Certified Healthcare Access Associate and Certified Healthcare Access Manager credentials through NAHAM, as well as ProSci certification as a change management practitioner. Her educational background includes a bachelor's degree in healthcare management, a graduate certificate from the University of Denver for leadership and business acumen, and an MBA. Tadlock has been actively involved in professional organizations, serving on NAHAM's industry standards committee and holding leadership positions including Vice President and President with the Colorado Association of Access Managers, also known as the COHAM board.

Follow your instinct, follow your heart. If you feel like you are connected to the mission and vision of the organization or the industry, pursue it. Recognize what you are passionate about and share with leaders to find your purpose. Leading people is not for everyone; some prefer the technical side.
