Cara Michalowski

Cara Michalowski is the President and founder of LUXX Exposition Services, a woman-owned and minority-owned tradeshow exhibition company she established in 2023. With approximately seven to eight years of experience in the tradeshow and event industry, Cara developed a strong passion for the field before taking the entrepreneurial leap to build her own company from the ground up. Without outside investment, she transformed her vision into a profitable business and now leads LUXX Exposition Services with a focus on creating impactful, engaging, and well-executed exhibition experiences.

Cara’s professional background is supported by an education in business and marketing. She attended community college before earning her associate and bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, along with a minor in Marketing, from Elmhurst University, graduating around 2017–2018. Her education has provided a strong foundation for her entrepreneurial approach, while her industry experience has helped her develop practical expertise in tradeshow operations, exhibit services, event planning, and business leadership. She is particularly passionate about having the freedom to guide her company’s direction, pursue new opportunities, and contribute to the continued growth of the exhibition industry.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Cara values determination, confidence, independence, and the courage to pursue new opportunities. She is actively engaged with the broader tradeshow community and participates in industry events and professional networks, including initiatives supporting women in exhibitions. Outside of work, she enjoys Pilates, riding her Harley with her husband, and taking walks with her Bernedoodle puppy. As an entrepreneur, Cara encourages other women to trust their abilities, take action, and not allow self-doubt to prevent them from pursuing their goals.
