Resnick’s educational background includes undergraduate studies at Rutgers University in New Jersey, along with graduate-level coursework and graphic design studies at The New School. In her current role, she focuses on concept development and campaign ideation, working extensively in Adobe Photoshop to create compelling key visuals and developing social media strategies designed to maximize audience engagement and reach. Her creative work has received industry recognition, including a Clio Award, an achievement she credits with strengthening her confidence and reinforcing her commitment to a career in the creative industry.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Resnick is committed to advocacy and community engagement. Her Interview

Ten minutes with Cara

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to proving everything to myself despite health challenges, and drawing inspiration from my dad and husband who are entrepreneurs building their own careers.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice is to hustle with kindness and empathy, and from my dad: don't compare yourself to others, head down, do you, be yourself.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Familiarize yourself with AI tools, learn them inside and out, think very creatively, and know that your opinion matters in the room speak up.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

AI is both a huge negative and positive in the business, but it's critical to achieve the learning curve and prepare with the tools to become a pioneer.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Kindness, empathy, and understanding are most important, especially in virtual meetings where you don't know what someone is going through personally.
