With 42 years of consulting experience, I serve as a C‑level contract executive and strategic advisor to organizations navigating transition, growth, change, or crisis. My work centers on leadership, culture, program development, and long‑range strategic planning—helping organizations stabilize, scale, and strengthen their impact.

I’ve built my entire career on word‑of‑mouth referrals, partnering remotely with clients across industries and geographies. Throughout my career, I’ve guided organizations through pivotal moments, helping them grow sustainably, modernize operations, and position themselves for long‑term success. My approach is deeply innovative: I draw on insights from every sector I’ve worked in to design solutions that are practical, human‑centered, and system‑aware.

Collaboration is at the heart of my leadership. I’m known for bringing diverse people, organizations, and perspectives together to solve complex problems. Effective systemic change requires shared vision, cross‑sector partnership, and the courage to rethink entrenched structures—and that’s the work I love most.

My background spans multiple industries, including non-profits, economic development, education, and now the energy sector, where I focus on breaking down silos, aligning policy with practice, and strengthening workforce development. Across every chapter of my career, my mission has remained the same: help organizations navigate their most challenging moments with clarity, integrity, and forward momentum.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of perseverance, innovation, and a deep commitment to collaboration. I’ve always been someone who pushes forward, even in complex or uncertain environments. One of my greatest strengths has been my ability to draw from the wide range of industries I’ve worked in, using those diverse experiences to design creative solutions and help people and organizations move through challenging moments in their history.

Collaboration has also been foundational to my work. I’m a natural networker and connector, and I thrive when bringing together different people, organizations, and perspectives to solve shared problems. Real systemic change is never the result of a single voice or a single discipline. It requires collective intelligence—great minds, diverse experiences, and a willingness to build together. That belief has shaped every chapter of my career and continues to guide how I lead, partner, and create impact.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I ever received was simple but transformative: “Keep going, and keep learning.” It taught me that perseverance matters, but so does evolution. Every industry I’ve worked in, every challenge I’ve stepped into, and every team I’ve supported has been shaped by that mindset—stay open, stay innovative, and stay willing to grow.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I always encourage young women to seek out strong female mentors—women who can offer guidance, perspective, and support as they navigate their careers. Having someone who has walked the path before you can make all the difference, especially in industries where women are still underrepresented.

It’s also important to understand the generational dynamics you may encounter in the workplace. Different generations bring different expectations, communication styles, and approaches to leadership. Recognizing those differences—and learning how to navigate them with confidence and clarity—will serve you well.

Above all, persistence matters. Your career will include challenges, pivots, and moments of uncertainty, but staying committed to your growth, your voice, and your goals is what ultimately moves you forward. Keep showing up, keep learning, and keep pushing for the opportunities you deserve.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the most significant challenges in the clean energy sector today is the persistence of silos across the industry. Different parts of the ecosystem—policy, utilities, contractors, regulators, community organizations, and workforce partners—often operate with limited visibility into one another’s realities. That lack of shared understanding slows progress and creates gaps between intention and implementation.

A related challenge is the ongoing disconnect between policy and practice. We have ambitious climate goals and strong policy frameworks, but translating those into on‑the‑ground action requires alignment, communication, and a clear understanding of how political decisions impact the people actually doing the work. Bridging that divide is essential for accelerating adoption and ensuring programs function as intended.

Workforce development is another major pressure point. The industry is growing faster than the talent pipeline can support, and we’re asking workers to adapt to new technologies, new standards, and new expectations at a pace that’s difficult to sustain. Building a skilled, diverse, and future‑ready workforce is critical to meeting climate mandates and scaling clean energy solutions equitably.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity and perseverance are at the center of everything I do—both professionally and personally. Integrity guides how I lead, how I make decisions, and how I show up for the people and organizations I support. It means being honest, consistent, and accountable, even when the work is complex or the path forward isn’t easy.

Perseverance has carried me through every chapter of my career. Systems change, organizational transformation, and crisis navigation all require a willingness to stay the course, adapt, and keep moving forward. That same persistence shapes how I approach challenges in my personal life as well.

I also value collaboration, respect, and a deep commitment to learning. I believe in bringing diverse voices together, honoring different perspectives, and creating environments where people feel seen and supported. And I believe in staying curious—continuously growing, evolving, and expanding my understanding of the world.

These values anchor my leadership and my life: lead with integrity, persist with purpose, and build with others.
