Her Interview

Ten minutes with Caraline

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my parents and family. They allowed me the freedom to be myself as a child, and I developed my strong work ethic and attention to detail from their example. My motivation comes from a genuine love for what I do and a desire to make them proud.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

You can ask for advice, but you don't need to take all the advice you receive.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

"If you want to work on your art, work on your life."

Have a strong pov on who you are. Don't accommodate or compromise yourself to please others and their interests.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Inflated budgets. There is a huge financial bottleneck that keeps young creatives from entering this industry. However, the more you go out, immerse yourself in good, authentic people, and build a trusted community, the more motivated you will be to create "Ars Gratia Artis."

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Trust, Collaboration, Curiosity, and Saying the Big Thing Out Loud.
