About Cari

Cari JacobsCrovetto serves as an executive coach, meditation teacher, and podcast host through her company Brave Directions, which she opened in 2020 following almost 30 years in marketing and advertising, where she rose to CMO positions at major agencies in New York, LA, San Francisco, and London. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from California State University at Long Beach and completed three years of training at Stanford, along with a coaching certification from UC Berkeley's Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute. Her professional credentials include PCC certification from the International Coaching Federation, MBSR certification from UC Berkeley, polyvagal therapy certification under Dr. Steven Porges, Google's Search Inside Yourself program, and ongoing two-year practitioner training at Spirit Rock. Cari facilitates the popular OV374 class, known as Touchy Feely, at Stanford Graduate School of Business and hosts the podcast Finding Treasures in the Trash, which explores inner awareness and personal growth. She previously served five years on the board of the Oakland Public Education Fund and supports artist residencies as an art collector. In 2019, she was named to Forbes' Top 50 CMOs for Innovation and Game Changing and received the Stevie Award.
