About Carly
Carly Guidi serves as Assistant General Manager and Leads Manager in the medical aesthetics field. She began working at the front desk of Pura Vida while completing high school and dual enrollment college courses. Through consistent initiative, willingness to learn, and taking on additional responsibilities, she advanced into management. In her current role, she supports the operations and growth of two locations. Carly balanced these professional demands with full-time work and completing her college degree online, including a semester with six classes. She also gained business experience helping with social media management at her family's restaurant, Whitey's Fish Camp, and founded a mobile DJ business at a young age that she continues on the side. She credits her progress to a mindset of curiosity and continuous learning, along with tenacity, discipline, and a strong work ethic.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I definitely stayed by that, for sure. That curiosity mindset, always learning, the tenacity to just always. I stayed disciplined and working hard for what I want, taking on more responsibility.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't wait until you feel completely ready or qualified to go after what's want. Take any opportunity to learn, ask the questions, work hard. Willing to learn as you grow. A lot of my growth came from saying yes to the responsibilities that I had no idea how to handle. Don't let age make you feel like you don't belong in the room. Be confident, but humble enough to keep learning.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Taking initiative, always learning for new systems, taking on responsibilities, work ethic, wanting more and continuing to do better. Kindness, caring about others, how decisions affect employees and customers. Ambition.
