Her Story

About Carmela

Prior to this I wanted to be a medical doctor but found people flocked to me for advice and support. I took psychology classes in college and realized this was my path. As a woman of color I wanted to add representation in the field. I obtained my bachelor's in psychology and sociology from the University of Michigan, master's in clinical child psychology from University of Detroit Mercy, doctorate in clinical psychology, and recently completed my MBA in healthcare management. I am proud of the quality of care for clients and building leaders and teams invested in wellness.
