My background is as a real estate paralegal. I worked for the top law firms and the top attorneys in Miami. In 2014, I decided to leave the legal field and go into corporate America. I worked for the previous CEO, the owner of Hotwire Communications, and then I decided to leave that position and try something completely out of the box for me. I applied at SanRemune and got hired on the spot. SanRemune is a company that has a patent on a formula for men with prostate cancer. It's going to change the world, and it's saving lives for men with prostate cancer. I currently am the office administrator there. I have to tell you, I've never, ever worked for doctors, I've never worked for a biotech firm, and it was a position that was basically handed to me with a recruiter, and I said, let me take a leap of faith, this is going to change people's lives and save lives. I have to tell you that I'm thrilled to work for SanRemune. The challenges have been significant because my mindset, my vocabulary, my verbiage has always been law. I have had to learn all the different acronyms for medicine with this patent and with this group. We have a group of almost 30 famous urologists from all over the world that are working on this patent and this formula, along with different engineers with different backgrounds that are handling the formula. We have opened different sites from Mexico now to the United States. This has been a tremendous challenge for me because, again, I have never worked in this field, and it is challenging every single day, but I absolutely love it.
