About Carmen
I started as a paralegal but crossed paths with a woman who inspired me to enter the corporate world and became my life coach. Now I manage at Pepsi while running LCX, my consulting business that assists small businesses especially in construction and restaurants with marketing and budgeting. Our three-woman company focuses on community connections and practical strategies rather than big ad spends. I value legacy and am writing a book to pass on my experiences.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My connections and relationships with other successful people keep me growing. I see others as opportunities rather than competition, believing that working together allows us to achieve more and both make money.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You don't know everything. Be open to listening, which is the hardest thing when starting out. Find yourself a good mentor no matter the industry. There are always people willing to pass on knowledge, especially at leadership levels.
