About Carneisha
Tynesha Stevens is a higher education professional specializing in admissions and financial aid. She joined TBUC and Life in March after spending four years at UMass Boston, where she supported student employment services. Stevens has worked across multiple fields including violence prevention, marketing, and roles assisting children, always driven by a passion for helping people of all ages reach new levels in their educational and professional journeys. Her daily responsibilities include managing applications for nursing programs, matching candidates with employer partners, and helping students secure financing or sponsorships when needed. She holds a tax certification along with a bachelor's degree in business management and a minor in international management. Stevens is a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association and the VIP program, the Violence Intervention and Prevention Program. One of her notable achievements includes contributing to a violence prevention campaign in Mattapan.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I would say the best career advice I ever received was to be able to keep going, don't limit yourself, allow yourself to strive for greatness, and greatness can be in many different forms, even the ones that you least expect. And your career could take you on many different journeys, but it's a beautiful thing.
