Her Interview
Ten minutes with Carol
01What do you attribute your success to?
I just can't see myself sitting around. I always had that passion to help somebody because I wish somebody had been helping me. It's always about now I can give back, now I can help somebody else.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I didn't know where God was taking me, I just followed. He just opened the doors.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
When you come out of school, it's a broad field. Knowing what your passion is, because if you don't have a passion for it, you're just going to burn out. I knew my passion was helping abused women, and so I just quickly shifted and became a specialist there. Figuring out your niche. Finding a mentor, finding a coach. Finding somebody that really can help you guide you.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is everything. That's your brand, that's who you are. Ability to actually be more connected, feel like you're making a difference, be more connected to people.
