Her Interview
Ten minutes with Carol
01What do you attribute your success to?
I think I have a gift of just seeing people struggle whether they verbalize it or not. It's about seeing people and recognizing that they may just need someone to walk alongside them. Our purpose in life is to help people along and find out what's underneath the why they made that choice.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Patience is a big attribute that they need to have. Be willing to walk alongside a teacher until they're ready. Build that trust. It's not just about someone paying you right in the beginning.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is teachers recognizing they're struggling and burnt out but not being ready or willing to take that step forward to see if things can be different. The opportunity is creating content and low-ticket items to introduce teachers to the work and help them leave school at school.
