Carol Lee is an accomplished association executive serving as Executive Director of the Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association (DCAT), a position she has held since November 2023. Based in the United States, she provides leadership for an organization that connects professionals and companies across the pharmaceutical, chemical, and associated technology sectors. I attribute my success to the people who believed in me and encouraged me along the way. Their confidence in my abilities helped me develop the belief in myself and gave me the motivation to pursue my goals with confidence and determination.

The best career advice I have ever received is to believe in myself. Having confidence in my abilities, trusting my decisions, and staying committed to my goals have helped me overcome challenges and continue moving forward in my career.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to not be afraid to take chances, speak up, and pursue opportunities. Believe in yourself, trust your abilities, and don’t let fear hold you back from achieving your goals.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my industry right now is adapting to a constantly changing environment. Staying open to new ideas, embracing innovation, and continuing to learn are essential for navigating challenges and taking advantage of new opportunities for growth and success.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is the most important value to me, both in my work and personal life. I believe in being honest, trustworthy, and consistent in my actions, treating others with respect, and always doing what is right, even when it may be challenging.
