About Carol
Carol Moore brings more than 30 years of experience in health and wellness to her role as a Certified Health and Wellness Coach. After a successful career in IT spanning over 25 years, during which she served as Chief Operating Officer, Vice President, and sector leader overseeing multi-million dollar accounts for federal government clients, she is now transitioning into full-time coaching. She earned a bachelor's degree in religion from James Madison University and holds additional credentials including Certified Professional in Human Resources, Professional in Project Management, and ITIL Foundation version 4. Through her practice at Visionary Wellness, Carol focuses on symptom solutions and holistic health coaching, drawing from her personal journey overcoming multiple sclerosis and cancer to help others resolve health challenges stemming from medical treatments using a whole-body approach that integrates Western medicine with naturopathy and other modalities.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
It was from a colleague during a time I was struggling with perception. He said, throw in the black cape and just own it. Be yourself, and over time you'll adjust as you need to and it'll be natural. Be authentic and do it. Others will adjust with you.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't think about gender or whether you're the only woman at the table. Just go rocket and be excellent. There are women who have come before us who have done the hard work to get us equality. Show up each day and be awesome.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Respect for people accomplishing things in a variety of different ways to reach the same outcome. Caring and empathy - making sure people have stable income and family support while delivering results. Being authentic and showing you care about both the customer and the team's well-being.
