Her Story
About Carolanne
I've been in accounting since 1991, and my journey started simply - I took an accounting class in high school and just enjoyed the topic. That early interest led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in public accounting, and I became a Certified Public Accountant. Today, I serve as CEO of Do What You Love Accounting, which I run with my co-founder, Nic. My typical day varies quite a bit, as I balance helping clients directly with the responsibilities of running the company. I'm pretty honest with people, and if a request is made and it's not something that will fit well for us, I just let people know that. But I have a pretty extensive network, so I can usually connect them with somebody that it would be a good fit for them. I'm a member of the AICPA and the New Hampshire Society of CPAs.
