Caroline Cranford

I've been working as a sales representative with Altera Medical (formerly INX Medical) for 6 years, specializing in medical device sales. Before entering this field, I spent 2 years working in a dermatology office, which gave me valuable healthcare industry experience. I earned my degree in marketing with a minor in computer information systems from the University of Louisville. My typical day involves calling on clients, primarily doctors and clinics, and I usually see about 6 to 8 clinics per day. A big part of my role is relationship-building through what I call concierge selling. I take treats to my clients and do lunches with them about 3 days a week, all while educating providers on our medical devices. One of my proudest achievements came in 2024 when I made it into our Century Club by selling 100 of our devices in a single month, an accomplishment that earned me a plaque at corporate. I absolutely love what I do and could never go back to a normal 9-to-5 job.
