I attribute my success to the unwavering support of my family and close friends. My circle of eight to 10 trusted people has played an invaluable role in encouraging me, challenging me, and helping me stay grounded throughout my journey. I truly would not be where I am today without their support, belief in me, and continued presence in my life.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Be yourself, always be true to who you are, and never compromise your beliefs. I am 100% who I am in every single interaction with colleagues and the community, and it's gotten me where I am today.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be yourself. Be courageous. Be strong. Never compromise your beliefs.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are balance, commitment, and staying active and connected to the people and communities I care about. Outside of work, I enjoy playing roller derby with a local nonprofit league in South Atlanta, hiking, and CrossFit. Being a mother to my teenage daughter is the most important part of my life, and I value making time for her while maintaining an active, fulfilling lifestyle.
