Her Story

About Caroline

I graduated from Elon University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design and relocated from Baltimore, Maryland to Naples, Florida during the height of COVID. While I did not come from a traditional accounting background, I joined Assurance Dimensions through networking and began in an administrative role supporting employee benefit plan audits and financial statement preparation.

From the start, I relied on strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. By leaning into hands-on experience and continuously building my skill set, I was able to grow rapidly within the firm.

What began as an operational support role evolved into a leadership position, where I was promoted to Operations Manager and Marketing Coordinator. In this role, I co-led a team of 5 while also leading CRM management, marketing strategy, and firmwide initiatives.

In January 2026, I was promoted to the firm’s first-ever Director of Sales and Marketing, a role I helped shape through consistent performance and a results-driven mindset. Today, I lead the firm’s growth strategy, overseeing sales operations, marketing, and brand development. My responsibilities include managing branding, website maintenance, event coordination, optimizing CRM systems, driving inbound and outbound lead generation, and developing data-driven reporting and performance tracking.

One of my key initiatives this past year has been implementing a KPI scorecard system through HubSpot to drive accountability and performance across our senior leadership team, aligning sales activity and marketing engagement with our firm-wide revenue goals.

Over the past five years, I have intentionally built a career that bridges operations, marketing, and sales, ultimately creating a role that did not previously exist within the firm. My journey reflects a commitment to continuous growth, adaptability, and delivering measurable impact.

Ten minutes with Caroline

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of adaptability, consistency, and a willingness to step outside of my comfort zone. Throughout my career, I have taken on roles beyond my original scope, which has allowed me to develop a well-rounded understanding of both operations and growth strategy. I focus on following through, solving problems proactively, and being someone my team can rely on. I also believe that staying open to learning and evolving has been key to continuing to grow in a fast-paced environment.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve received is that you don’t need to have everything figured out to take the next step. Early in my career, I felt pressure to have a perfectly defined path, but I’ve learned that growth comes from taking opportunities, figuring things out as you go, and trusting your ability to adapt. That mindset has helped me take on new challenges with confidence.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don’t underestimate the value of your perspective or wait until you feel 100 percent ready to speak up or take on something new. This industry rewards people who are proactive, curious, and solutions-oriented. Build strong relationships, ask questions, and take initiative. Also, learn how to communicate your value clearly, it is just as important as the work itself.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities right now is the shift toward more advisory-driven services. Clients are no longer just looking for compliance, they want strategic guidance and partners who can help them make informed decisions. At the same time, the challenge is keeping up with that evolution, whether it is through technology, changing regulations, or expanding service offerings. Firms that can adapt quickly and deliver both technical expertise and forward-thinking insight are the ones that will stand out.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, accountability, and continuous growth are the values that guide both my work and personal life. I believe in doing what you say you’re going to do, being honest and transparent, and always looking for ways to improve. I also value relationships and showing up for the people around me, whether that’s my team, clients, or family. Those principles keep me grounded and focused, no matter what I’m working toward.
