01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to hold on to your faith, commitment, and determination, especially when facing difficult times. When it feels like everything has failed, remember that you may simply be in the process of finding your way forward. Do not give up. I have learned that challenges can reveal a strength and resilience you never knew you had, and you will come out on the other side stronger, more confident, and amazed by your own endurance.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the greatest challenges I have faced became one of my greatest opportunities for growth. When my husband, Larry, was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease, I took on new roles as a caregiver, advocate, financial planner, and decision-maker while navigating complex healthcare and personal challenges. Through this experience, I discovered a deeper level of resilience, empathy, and leadership under pressure. It strengthened my commitment to supporting others facing similar hardships and inspired me to become more involved in Alzheimer’s advocacy, education, and creating a culture of compassion and support within my workplace.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are faith, commitment, perseverance, and family. I believe in never giving up on myself, even during the most difficult seasons. My faith, the love and support of my family, and the endurance to keep moving forward have shaped who I am and continue to guide the way I approach challenges and opportunities.
