About Carolyn
Carolyn Castelblanco serves as an account executive on the customer development team at Gallo, a total alcohol beverage company based in Irving, Texas. With 12 years in the company's sales leadership development program and 4 years in her current role, she is dedicated to growing the convenience channel for wine and spirits. Her responsibilities include driving category awareness among consumers and providing insights to customer partners on top-performing and underperforming items to guide their assortment decisions in line with consumer trends. She is particularly excited about opportunities in the sugar-free segment of the alcohol beverage category. Castelblanco graduated from Texas A&M University in 2014 with a degree in agricultural communications and journalism, which she notes combines her understanding of viticulture and winemaking with strong communications skills that align well with sales. She began her career as a sales representative in Houston immediately after graduation and values the company's family-owned structure and commitment to promoting from within.
