Carrie Botsford

I am a dental industry executive with over a decade of experience in practice growth, clinical operations, and organizational leadership, currently serving as President of The Dawson Academy, a role I have held since May 2023, where I lead the strategic direction and growth of one of the most respected continuing education institutions in dentistry.

Prior to this role, I served as Vice President of Practice Growth at Spear Education for nearly three years, where I drove practice growth strategies and supported dental professionals in achieving clinical and business excellence. Before that, I served as Chief Operating Officer at Select Dental for ten months, overseeing operations and strategic initiatives.

I spent over seven years at Midwest Dental in progressively responsible roles, including Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Clinical Operations, and Regional Director of Operations, where I led operational strategy, clinical excellence, and regional performance across multiple practices. Earlier in my career, I served as Regional Director of Operations at Gentle Dentistry for over three years.

Across my career in dental industry leadership, my work has been driven by a commitment to helping dental professionals and organizations achieve excellence in both clinical care and practice growth. Whether I am leading a continuing education institution, driving practice growth strategies, or overseeing clinical operations, I bring strategic vision, operational expertise, and a dedication to advancing the dental profession.
