Dr. Carrie Comer-Yates

Education leader and policy professional with experience spanning early childhood education, special education, higher education, and public policy. Currently serves as a Policy Fellow at Bank Street College of Education and as a part-time Child Development Professor at City Colleges of Chicago. Previous leadership roles with Chicago Public Schools included Senior Manager of Early Childhood Education and Special Education Administrator, alongside earlier experience as Director of Early Childhood in Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123. Brings strong expertise in education leadership, policy, program management, and child development.
