Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of curiosity, dedication, and a willingness to take on new challenges. I began at CBRE 10 years ago as a researcher and gradually progressed into analytics and data management roles, building on two years of prior experience in the field. Each promotion came from my willingness to take on more responsibility, solve complex problems across teams, and help formalize processes in a rapidly growing global department.

My core expertise lies in global data intelligence, where I manage operational data across more than 40 countries. I focus on standardizing processes, ensuring data quality, and aligning systems across multiple platforms. I also specialize in people leadership—guiding offshore teams, coordinating with local markets, and making sure data operations support key business decisions.

One of the highlights of my career was winning a major recognition award with my team. This achievement was especially meaningful because I work in a commercial real estate division that is heavily male-dominated. Contributing to a team that earned company-wide visibility reinforced that women in analytics can excel and lead in high-pressure, data-driven environments.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from the mentors who shaped my early career. My hiring manager encouraged me to speak up in meetings and take on challenging assignments, which pushed me to grow professionally. I’ve also been fortunate to have a director who continues to provide guidance, support, and opportunities for development. Their mentorship has helped me build confidence and navigate leadership dynamics within a global organization.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to stay confident, even when you feel inexperienced—every expert starts somewhere. This field requires patience, curiosity, and the courage to speak up, even when you’re surrounded by senior leaders or working in male-dominated teams. Ask questions, stay persistent, and remember that your voice adds value from day one.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is managing global alignment—integrating products, databases, and systems across dozens of countries, each with their own processes and cultural expectations. I see opportunity in these challenges, as they allow me to collaborate cross-functionally, solve complex problems, and increase my visibility within the company. The expansion of global data operations presents a clear path for both influence and career growth.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me in both my work and personal life are perseverance, humility, and consistency. Professionally, I believe in advocating for myself, even when it feels uncomfortable, while staying grounded when collaborating with global partners. I prioritize building trust through reliability, clear communication, and strong ethics—especially in a division where accuracy and integrity are critical.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about sports, particularly football and basketball, and love cheering on my favorite NFL and college teams. Spending time with my family is also very important to me; I’ve enjoyed bonding over hockey with my nephew, who shares a deep passion for the game. Staying active and maintaining a well-rounded life outside of work helps me bring focus and energy to everything I do.
