What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a lack of fear. That mindset has carried me through every challenge and every milestone. I’ve owned my own business for eight years now, and I’ve loved every moment of it. Before that, I spent 15 years working in film and video production, building skills and relationships that continue to shape the work I do today.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was simple but powerful: listen to your clients. Communication is everything in this industry, and understanding people’s needs and visions is the foundation of building lasting partnerships.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The advice I would give to young women entering this industry is to be fearless and do what you love. Passion and courage go hand in hand, and if you stay true to both, success will follow.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The budgets in our niche marketplace are smaller than in the mainstream. We strive to keep our talent paid what they deserve.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
On a personal and professional level, I deeply value the ability to identify talent and help it flourish. I also love writing, which continues to be both a creative outlet and a tool that enriches my professional work.
