Casandra Bradley is the CEO and Founder of a pioneering medical device company, inspired by her personal journey caring for her medically fragile son. What started as a home grown business named My Wonder Gear is now becoming something even she never saw coming, a globally recognizable corporation to change the standard of care and safety in healthcare! After experiencing critical failures with life-support equipment, Casandra was driven to create solutions that could prevent similar incidents for other families and their loved ones. Her company’s first device, known as “the sleeve,” has been successfully launched globally, and she is now adding an additional arm to the business model of B2B while developing additional innovative products, including a medical belt, all designed to enhance patient safety and quality of care through TuckLine. Casandra’s leadership is defined by a mission-driven approach that extends beyond medical innovation. She is deeply committed to supporting women entrepreneurs in STEM by creating pathways to market and mentorship opportunities, fostering a new generation of female leaders. Her long-term vision includes global expansion of her medical devices, launching a charitable initiative to repurpose unused devices for humanitarian aid, and inspiring her children to pursue their passions fearlessly. With a blend of strategic business acumen, medical expertise, and personal resilience, Casandra is reshaping how life-saving solutions reach families worldwide. Beyond her professional achievements, Casandra is a passionate adventurer and devoted family person. She enjoys traveling, outdoor activities such as mountain camping, and adrenaline-fueled experiences like skydiving and cliff jumping. She embraces life fully—dancing in the rain, nurturing her faith, and actively engaging in her community. Casandra’s story is one of courage, innovation, and relentless dedication to making a meaningful impact both in the medical field and in the lives of those around her.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to turning personal trauma into purpose-driven innovation, guided by a lifelong fascination and experience with people, medicine and the human body. My journey as a female entrepreneur has required persistence through adversity, and I have relied on my amazing husband, chosen family, my strong people-management skills and the ability to lead with empathy to build and inspire teams. Throughout it all, my faith, resilience, and determination have allowed me to navigate challenges, stay focused on my mission, and continue driving meaningful impact in both business and healthcare. I am beyond excited and humbled at what has come out of the last 4 years as we now bring about TuckLine. Stay tuned!

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Find your people! If everyone is telling you to be in a room and while in that room you feel like it's not the right one for you, leave and go find your people. You'll know you're in the right room when you find there synergy that boosts your skills, collaborations, and determination just by associating with them. With the right people by your side you can achieve anything! A Special thank you to all of those who have helped turn TuckLine into a reality!

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to never let fear or systemic barriers prevent you from building what you believe in. Use your lived experience as a source of strength, not a limitation, and be a steadfast advocate for yourself and other women in STEM. That's exactly what I have strived to do with TuckLine and I know it works! Remember that innovation doesn’t require anyone’s permission—what it demands is your commitment, persistence, and courage to bring your ideas to life.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges in my field include navigating funding and affordability as a medical startup and breaking into traditionally male-dominated STEM and medical device spaces. At the same time, there are tremendous opportunities with our new company TuckLine, such as expanding FDA-approved medical devices globally, creating humanitarian pathways to repurpose unused devices, and building platforms that empower other inventors to bring life-saving ideas to market. These challenges and opportunities drive innovation and underscore the importance of persistence, collaboration, and mission-driven leadership.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide both my work and personal life are honesty, which I consider non-negotiable even in difficult situations, and kindness, believing that compassion leads to better outcomes than harshness. My faith in God serves as a guiding force, and I embrace a broad, inclusive definition of family—one that honors those who choose to support, uplift, and stand by one another. These principles shape how I lead, create, and connect with the people and communities around me and how I run our new company TuckLine.
