Her Interview
Ten minutes with Casie
01What do you attribute your success to?
I think for me, and this is something that folks have told me, they feel supported by me. They know that when working with me, I listen, I'm able to be flexible, but when I'm working with someone, I'm their biggest cheerleader. When I'm just as invested as they are, and I'm really alongside them, and working with them and doing what I can to make them successful. Their success is my success.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The idea and the passion is great. Betting on yourself is great. I encourage people, if they feel called, to definitely make that leap, but understand that even though the days will be rough, there'll be days you want to burn it all down, understand that that's normal. If you feel discouraged one day, it will pass. Not alone. There's a lot that goes into it, and don't feel like you're alone in those days. It's lonely when it's hard, it's gonna be hard, but it's normal. You'll stick it through, push through, and you'll come out of the other side.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is it's definitely a crowded space. Because of AI, as wonderful as it can be, people are very leery. There's a lot of scare out there. So I'm having to really fight hard that, hey, I'm a real business, I'm trusting. It's made people very, very leery. They want that proof more so than before. This is also a reason why you gotta show up as a face for your business.
