Cassandra Chase-Wilon

Cassandra ChaseWilson serves as the Senior HR Generalist at a non-profit organization in Juneau, Alaska, that provides services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Since joining the company in July 2021, she has progressed from HR technician to HR generalist and now to her current senior role, where she handles the full employee lifecycle including hiring, retention, engagement, separation, medical benefits, and payroll deductions. She earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from the University of Alaska Southeast, with art as her primary focus and math as secondary. Cassandra maintains a SHRM membership and recently attended the NIRMA conference in Spokane. Her professional journey began after working as an office assistant, leading her to discover her passion for HR through a position at her husband's company. She values building teams based on individual strengths and has experience mentoring others in HR roles.
