Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I credit my success to a strong creative foundation and a commitment to constant growth. What began in art school and graphic design evolved as I pursued advanced UX and UI training with Epic Games and Unreal Engine. Staying curious keeps me relevant technology moves fast, and great game design is about crafting intuitive, meaningful experiences. Blending creativity with a deep understanding of player needs has allowed me to adapt, evolve, and create work that resonates.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I ever received was to stay true to my art to trust my voice, honor my instincts, and keep practicing until my craft reflects the very best of who I am. That simple guidance has shaped every step of my journey.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the gaming industry is to discover what truly excites you and pursue it with intention. Seek mentors, immerse yourself in the craft you love, and don’t let generalist dilute your impact. The industry is full of supportive communities and learning opportunities use them. You don’t need to be an engineer to bring a game idea to life; today’s tools can help you shape your vision. What matters most is taking that first bold step toward what you want.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

As a woman in a still male‑dominated industry, I see the challenges but I’m equally driven by the possibilities. Specialization empowers young professionals to stand out, and visibility ensures our stories open doors for others. By elevating diverse voices, we shape a more inclusive, innovative future for gaming.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Perseverance, purpose, and service guide everything I do. From leading early game‑design workshops for kids in Los Angeles to mentoring students and reviewing portfolios today, I’m committed to lifting others as I grow. My volunteer work with animal‑focused organizations keeps me grounded and connected to something bigger than myself. Balancing ambition with meaningful contribution is what gives my career and my life its direction.
