Cassie Boudreaux

I started my career in proposal writing in 2020 at DRC Emergency Services, a disaster response company here in New Orleans, Louisiana. That's where I learned the skill, or craft, if you will, of proposal writing. After about 4 years there, I moved to Pritchard Industries, a janitorial company, where I stayed for about a year and a half. That's where I got more into the graphic design side of things. I then worked at GardaWorld, a security company, for about 6 months before being scouted by SBM on LinkedIn. I joined SBM in January of this year as a proposal manager, which was a leadership role I was really looking forward to. In my current role, I work with a team of 4 people, and we divvy out the work pretty evenly, each taking a couple proposals at a time. We look into the clients and how we can align our company to theirs, showing them that we are the best client for them. I love the graphic design aspect - every page of a proposal is kind of a different room for me to design, with the same feel and vibe. If you think about reading a book, if it's just words pasted, but if you look at the graphic and you're interested in the graphic, then it makes you read the words.
