About Cassie
Cassie Egli is the founder of Straight4Ward Consulting & Marketing and an AI Visibility Strategist who helps B2B consultants, coaches, and service-based businesses become more visible, credible, and discoverable in an increasingly AI-driven marketplace.
With more than 24 years of experience in marketing and sales, Cassie specializes in AI visibility, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), brand positioning, and digital marketing strategy. She is the creator of The Visibility Stack™, a framework designed to help businesses get found, build trust, create clear pathways to action, and maintain their visibility as search behavior and technology continue to evolve.
Cassie’s approach grew from a fundamental shift she saw happening in digital marketing: being visible in traditional search is no longer enough. As consumers increasingly turn to platforms such as ChatGPT and other AI-powered tools for recommendations, businesses need to establish the signals that help both people and technology understand who they are, what they do, and why they are credible.
Her career spans entrepreneurship, e-commerce, website development, marketing consulting, sales, and business operations. Before founding Straight4Ward, Cassie spent more than 13 years as the owner of Super Suppers Perrysburg-Maumee and previously worked in account management and recruiting. Her experience as a former StoryBrand Certified Guide further shaped her expertise in clear, customer-focused messaging and strategic brand positioning.
Cassie’s own experience building and later consolidating multiple business identities also helped inspire The Visibility Stack™. She saw firsthand how fragmented messaging and digital footprints can make it harder for both customers and AI platforms to understand a brand. Today, she helps clients build a more cohesive presence through clear positioning, credible third-party proof, strong customer pathways, and consistent visibility.
Integrity is central to how Cassie approaches her work. She believes effective marketing begins with understanding what a business genuinely does well and communicating it clearly. She is equally willing to refer a prospective client elsewhere when their needs fall outside her expertise, prioritizing long-term trust over short-term revenue.
Beyond her consulting work, Cassie has been active in Rotary Perrysburg, including serving as Sergeant at Arms. She also prioritizes personal growth and well-being while navigating the realities of entrepreneurship.
Through Straight4Ward Consulting & Marketing, Cassie is helping businesses adapt to a fundamental change in how customers discover and evaluate companies - moving beyond simply ranking in search results toward becoming businesses that people and AI platforms recognize, trust, and recommend.

Ten minutes with Cassie
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to keep evolving. Marketing has changed dramatically over my 24-plus-year career, and I’ve learned that what worked yesterday isn’t necessarily what will work tomorrow. I’m always asking questions, learning, testing, and looking for what’s coming next.
I also believe strongly in knowing what you do well and having the courage to specialize. Over the years, I’ve built expertise in areas including Shopify, StoryBrand, and now AI visibility, but each evolution has come from paying attention to what businesses actually need and where I can make the greatest difference.
Integrity has been just as important. I don’t believe every client is the right client, and I’m comfortable telling someone when I’m not the best person to help them. Building trust and doing what is right for the client has created relationships and opportunities that no marketing tactic could manufacture.
Most importantly, I’ve learned that success isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about being willing to adapt, learn from what doesn’t work, and keep moving forward with clarity about where you can create the most value.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to stay in your lane - not because you shouldn’t grow, but because you don’t have to be everything to everyone. The more I’ve learned to focus on what I do exceptionally well, say no to work that isn’t the right fit, and surround myself with people whose strengths complement mine, the stronger my business has become.
I’ve also learned that your lane can evolve. Some of the biggest opportunities in my career have come from being curious enough to recognize when the market was changing and confident enough to change with it. Focus and adaptability may sound like opposites, but I’ve found you need both.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering marketing is to find your niche, become excellent at solving a specific problem, and never underestimate the value of your experience.
Rather than trying to appeal to everyone or chasing every new platform, focus on developing genuine expertise in an area that interests you. Understand the people you want to help, learn what challenges they face, and build a reputation for delivering meaningful results.
I also encourage women to recognize the value of the skills they already possess. Sometimes, professional growth does not require becoming an entirely different person; it requires learning how to communicate your existing strengths in a way that others understand. Stay curious, continue learning, build relationships grounded in trust, and develop a clear point of view about the value you bring.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in marketing is the rapid evolution of search behavior, particularly as people increasingly use AI tools to find information, compare businesses, and decide whom to hire. Traditional marketing assumptions are becoming less reliable, and businesses can no longer depend solely on search rankings, referrals, or social media visibility to reach potential customers.
At the same time, this shift creates significant opportunities for businesses that can communicate their expertise clearly and establish credible authority online. AI visibility requires more than optimizing a website for keywords; it involves ensuring that a business's positioning, reputation, content, and external evidence consistently communicate what it does and why it should be trusted.
I believe businesses that invest in authentic authority, clear messaging, and consistent visibility will be better positioned for long-term success. Rather than chasing a single ranking or short-term tactic, they should focus on becoming the most relevant and credible answer for the customers they want to reach.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, transparency, and meaningful service guide how I approach my work, make business decisions, and build relationships. I believe in being honest about what I can deliver, recommending solutions that genuinely benefit my clients, and referring people elsewhere when another provider would better meet their needs.
I also value family, community, continuous learning, and personal well-being. Entrepreneurship requires dedication, but I believe it is important to maintain balance and make time for activities that support physical and mental wellness.
Through my consulting work and long-standing involvement with Rotary, I strive to demonstrate that success is about more than business performance. It is also about earning trust, serving others, and making a positive difference in the communities and businesses I work with.
