Her Story
About Cassie
Cassie Jacobs serves as Executive Account Manager in surgical sales for Allergan, where she has worked for the past year and a half after more than 15 years in the medical field. She calls on surgeons, hospitals, med spa owners, and investors to identify challenges and deliver solutions that prioritize patient needs, drawing on clinical data, cost considerations, and stakeholder alignment. Jacobs attributes her success, including being named Rep of the Year in 2021 as the top performer nationwide and earning President's Club honors seven or eight times since 2016, to genuine listening and a commitment to doing what is best for the patient. She has taken on leadership roles and served as a trainer within her organization. Her educational background includes a 2005 bachelor's degree with a dual major in special education and rural education from universities in Hawaii and Texas, and she is finishing additional studies at North Texas. Jacobs volunteers with organizations supporting wounded soldiers, Tunnel to Towers, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. She values truth, honesty, loyalty, presence, follow-up, and genuineness in both her professional and personal life.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Cassie
01What do you attribute your success to?
I don't think I'm anything special. It's just truly listening and doing what's best for the patient, and then things fall into place. Being genuine. That's where I've been able to get Rep of the Year, President's Club, leadership roles, and trainer.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Just being patient.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Nothing's perfect. Ask why they're getting into it - is there passion there or is it the money? Passion is a big thing. Be real, candid and transparent about the pros and cons. Depending on what they want, advise on areas like work-life balance, travel, or being in the OR.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Truth, being honest, loyalty. From a work standpoint, being there, being present, follow-up, and genuine.
