She served as Sales Operations Manager at CA Build and FoodLuma, as well as Business Development Manager at ProLogistix, gaining expertise in national accounts, pricing strategy, and operational efficiency. This breadth of experience allows her to approach challenges with a unique blend of analytical rigor and client-focused strategy.

What Cassie finds most fulfilling is helping people succeed—whether it’s a brand achieving its first retail placement or growing its presence on shelf, she derives immense satisfaction from contributing to others’ success. Known for her leadership, mentorship, and collaborative spirit, she thrives in high-energy, results-driven environments that value transparency, innovation, and accountability. Outside of her professional life, Cassie remains deeply engaged with the CPG and wellness sectors, supporting emerging brands, fostering meaningful client relationships, and staying attuned to industry trends, all while consistently delivering excellence in every endeavor she undertakes.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I think the fact that I've been able to keep learning something new keeps it kind of fresh for me. And then just the fact that I love helping people if I'm helping a brand succeed on shelf or get on shelf, then there's no greater feeling than that. That passion for helping others really drives my success.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

When somebody offers advice, listen. You don't have to take everything word for word, but usually you can find something that will help you in the advice that people give you. And if you don't know the answer, don't pretend like you do. I think that's a really big one. I think a lot of people in this industry tend to say that they know a lot of things and sometimes make bad decisions based on those things that they don't really know. So I think listening to advice and admitting when you don't know something are crucial.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I think this is a very male-dominated world, but women are starting to really come up and show their power in this industry. So I just say, let's all just cheer each other on and support each other and help each other, because ultimately that's what helps you in the long run. Support one another and don't treat those relationships as competition. I've noticed that there's a lot of people who treat other people who know a little bit more as competition, and I don't think that's right. If we look at it as somebody who's able to help me versus, oh, this is somebody who knows more, I think that would be the biggest help moving forward for women.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I think the challenges in this industry are that there are people who put in their all and give it their all, and then those people sometimes become overworked or taken advantage of. That balance is a very big challenge. Companies always say they have work-life balance, but I think it's ultimately up to that individual person how they actually balance that. For me, I'm a people pleaser, so sometimes I give so much that it becomes a challenge. As for opportunities, I think they are endless. Whatever you put your mind to, if you actually put your mind to it and take the steps to get there, then there's no opportunity that you can't reach.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I think honesty and empathy are the two biggest things for me. If you're being honest with me and leading with empathy, that's where I thrive, and that's what I try to do. I try to lead with empathy, but also, in the same respect, be honest and have valuable conversations in that respect.
