Her Story

About Cassondra

Cassondra Perez owns and operates Moms Anonymous, a mom group event organizer that has grown from seven women in her living room to events with over a thousand guests in just under three years. With 15 years of experience in the event industry overall, she pivoted her prior businesses including Sugar Wasted and Puffin Picasso after becoming a mother to focus on family-friendly events that bring the community together. Perez earned her bachelor's degree in communications with minors in public relations and business from William Patterson University in December 2017. She is CPR certified, a member of Phi Sigma Sigma sorority, and an alumni of the National Leader Society. Her work has been featured in Bergen County Magazine. Perez attributes her success to her determination not to work for someone else, motivated by her own mother's hard work raising her alone, and a desire to be present for her daughters while building a sustainable business through events.

01What do you attribute your success to?

My determination to not work for somebody else has always been a driving force. My mom pretty much raised me on her own and I saw how hard she worked and didn't want to miss time with my kids like she did. Once I found out I was pregnant I pivoted my businesses to be able to stay home with my daughters while still making a living through Moms Anonymous events.
