Her Interview
Ten minutes with Caterina
01What do you attribute your success to?
Having a really supportive family and support network. If it wasn't for my loving Italian family, extremely supportive of my dreams and my career aspirations, and then I have a very supportive and loving boyfriend as well. They've pushed me, but they've also been there when I'm tired, and I'm frustrated, and they're very understanding, and my boyfriend's really great at giving me different perspectives, without judgment.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be patient and persistent. Because women in tech, unless you become a coder, you have to really be patient and persistent, because women are we have a lot more trouble being aggressive in calls, or like, we're perceived a lot more differently. Play the political game, know your job, but be good with politics, unfortunately. You have to learn and read people well.
