What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my willingness to "do it scared," taking leaps even when I’m afraid, combined with self-teaching, perseverance, and surrounding myself with people who are smarter than me so I can keep learning and growing.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that taking action even when you’re scared actually makes you brave. This perspective helped me embrace opportunities and challenges with confidence, knowing that fear doesn’t have to hold me back. It’s taught me that growth often comes from stepping outside my comfort zone.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to speak your mind and trust your ideas. Be confident, express your perspective, and don’t feel you’re only there to make your boss happy—authenticity and self-expression are key to growth and impact.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunity right now is bridging U.S.–China production relationships by building a U.S. customer base for overseas manufacturing and serving as a domestic point of contact for American clients throughout projects.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are protecting my time and using it productively, focusing on growth and work that benefits my family or the wider community, and living with authenticity while making every day count.
