Her Interview
Ten minutes with Catherine
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to hard work, endurance, and never giving up. I've been passionate about fashion from a young age and focused on giving back through training the next generation.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is to work hard, and stay true and loyal to yourself and to your beliefs.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
For young women entering the field, the consensus from the communities I've been part of is that you can do it. You can be an influential woman, you can be an executive female, and you can really do whatever you put your mind to. And that you do deserve a seat at any of the tables.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is the ever-changing and ever-evolving landscape of customers. Remaining relevant and socially relevant in the age of digital to ensure offering customers a good experience that speaks to the way they want to be spoken to is very important. Brands that do well have a clear, distinct, defined customer and product at a compelling price point that resonates with society or culture.
