About Cathy
Cathy Anderson has worked in her field since 1993, combining careers in nursing and business. She began by transitioning from pre-med studies to nursing and opened a group home that later became a nonprofit, Love Life Care Center, focused on mental health services. This experience led her to establish the Women's Awareness and Empowerment Organization, which evolved into her consulting business, initially Lynx Consulting and now A&E Coaching Group. She provides business consulting, nonprofit development support, mental health services, and coaching to clients including churches seeking community development corporation status. Anderson also works as a nurse at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee, where her hands-on experience informs her consulting practice. She holds a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration and a master's degree in project management.
