Cathy Kelly
Cathy Kelly is an accomplished educator, author, and consultant with a lifelong dedication to fostering learning and growth in both children and adults. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Gwynedd Mercy University in 1984 and later completed her Master’s in Early Childhood Education at Chestnut Hill University. With over two decades of experience teaching elementary students and nearly two decades teaching at the college level, Cathy has shaped countless learners and inspired fellow educators through her expertise and mentorship.
Throughout her career, Cathy has applied her deep knowledge of curriculum development, classroom instruction, and professional training to a variety of educational roles. She currently serves as an Education Consultant with CGK Educational Consultants and Associates, where she provides guidance on curriculum design and teacher professional development. Her experience also includes leadership positions such as Director at Abacus School of Austin and Education and Disabilities Coordinator at Bachman Lake Community School, where she oversaw operations, facilitated programs, and implemented innovative educational practices.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Cathy is deeply committed to community service and volunteerism. She actively contributes to local organizations and her church, teaching religious education classes, supporting children and families, and participating in poverty alleviation initiatives. Her dedication to education and community empowerment reflects a lifelong mission to positively impact learners of all ages and support the broader well-being of families.

I attribute my success to my genuine love for teaching and supporting others in their personal and professional growth. Helping individuals develop their skills and reach their potential has always been a driving passion in my career.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to never stop learning and gaining experience. Read widely to build your knowledge, and seek out volunteer opportunities to develop practical skills and expand your network.
