Cathy Risden is an accomplished media professional, emerging television host, and storyteller, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Communication and Media Studies at Rutgers University. With a strong foundation in journalism, advertising, and multimedia production, she has built a career focused on creating purpose-driven content that inspires, informs, and connects with diverse audiences. Cathy’s work spans television broadcasting, print media, and digital platforms, where she has produced engaging visual content, crafted compelling narratives, and analyzed emerging media trends to develop authentic communication strategies.
In addition to her media expertise, Cathy is a published author of Fixing My Crown and an entrepreneur, managing Cathy’s Printshop LLC, where she oversees marketing, design, and production operations. She has also contributed to her community as Media Director and Sunday School Teacher at the Apostolic Tabernacle of Irvington, leading media campaigns, educational programs, and storytelling initiatives that enhance engagement and foster personal growth. Her professional journey reflects a commitment to amplifying voices, sparking meaningful conversations, and supporting educational and creative projects, including her recent animated film project, Pencil Point: Saving the Alphabet and More.
