Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to an unshakable faith in God and a deep, self-love–centered belief that I was created with the ability to make inspired change. Trusting God’s direction while honoring my own worth gave me the courage to move when the path wasn’t clear, to persist when challenges came, and to lead with purpose instead of fear. That combination of faith, self-belief, and obedience to inspired action has been the foundation of every breakthrough I’ve experienced.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I was ever given was simple but life-changing: never tie your purpose to a paycheck. I was taught to build skills, not just résumés, and to think like an owner instead of an employee. That mindset freed me to work outside the matrix—creating multiple income streams, walking in independence, and aligning my work with my faith, values, and calling. Entrepreneurship became my pathway to impact, legacy, and freedom, not just financial success.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women this: know who you are before you decide what you do. Build your faith, protect your self-worth, and don’t wait for permission to use your gifts. Learn skills that give you options, think like an owner even when you’re starting small, and don’t be afraid to take the road less traveled if it aligns with your purpose. Entrepreneurship isn’t just about making money—it’s about impact, independence, and creating a life that reflects your values, not someone else’s expectations.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge—and opportunity—when working with foster youth transitioning out of care is the lack of consistent preparation for real adulthood. Many leave the system without practical life skills, financial literacy, emotional support, or a belief in their own potential. At the same time, these young people are incredibly resilient, resourceful, and hungry for guidance. When given structure, mentorship, and tools that are practical, affirming, and purpose-driven, they don’t just survive—they rise, lead, and redefine what’s possible for their futures.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

What matters most to me, personally and professionally, is living in alignment with my faith, my values, and my purpose. I prioritize legacy over popularity, impact over income alone, and freedom over limitation—while still honoring excellence, integrity, and stewardship in business. Family, spiritual growth, self-worth, and community uplift sit at the center of my personal life, while empowering others—especially youth transitioning out of care—to build skills, confidence, and independence defines my professional mission. Everything I do is rooted in creating meaningful change that outlives me.
