Ten minutes with Catina

01What do you attribute your success to?

I believe it's my deep faith in God.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of my dear departed bosses told me years ago that there is never anything that serious that happens at work. Save all your energy, and invest it in your family.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

First, seek to know and understand what your true talents and gifts are. And then find ways to utilize those talents and gifts to solve problems for other people.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges: Being a Black-owned struggling new business makes it very difficult to receive business funding. Opportunities: Develop partnerships, find creative ways to partner with other entities, and utilize AI to attract customers.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, truth, kindness, and generosity are at the base of what I focus on.
