Based in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, she brings approximately 15 years of experience in marketing, sales, events, and hospitality. Before establishing Ever Social Co., Caty held leadership roles in sales and events, including serving as Director of Sales and Events for Vida Mexican Kitchen y Cantina and Blackfinn Ameripub, as well as Sales and Event Manager at StrikeCity Charlotte.
Caty founded Ever Social Co. after building extensive experience in hospitality marketing and discovering her passion for the creative and relationship-driven side of the industry. Her approach to marketing emphasizes authentic connections, local relationships, and helping clients communicate their stories in a genuine and compelling way. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from East Carolina University’s College of Business and has developed expertise in marketing strategy, social networking, management, sales, and event planning. As a business leader, she values strong work ethic, initiative, creativity, and autonomy, giving her team the freedom to use their individual talents while adapting to an ever-changing marketing landscape.
Beyond her professional work, Caty has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to community involvement. She served for nearly a decade as a Camp Horizon Committee Member with the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte, supporting an inclusive summer camp experience for children with Down syndrome. She is also passionate about helping small businesses grow and believes genuine relationship building is central to sustainable success. As the marketing industry continues to evolve with artificial intelligence and new technologies, Caty advocates for using AI as a supportive tool while preserving human creativity, authenticity, and ethical judgment in the work.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Caty
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to genuine relationship building. We like to stay local and be face-to-face with our clients. Our niche is sticking close and being local because we love seeing them face-to-face and fully understanding their brand, which helps us tell a better story. Many clients have been with us since the beginning.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to keep growing while creating opportunities for others to succeed. I want to expand my business, support small businesses, and build a lasting legacy by involving my children in the creative process and empowering them to develop and excel in their unique talents.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is simple: take the leap and believe in yourself. Be confident in your skills, stay open to learning, and don’t let imposter syndrome hold you back. Build a strong support network and keep learning as the industry continues to evolve.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge and opportunity right now is navigating AI—embracing it as a tool to improve our creative processes without losing the human creativity and connection behind the final product. As AI evolves faster than industry guidelines, we also need to carefully consider ethics, authenticity, and responsible marketing.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value a strong work ethic, initiative, and autonomy. I believe in empowering my team to use their creativity and talents rather than micromanaging, which helps the business thrive. Since the market is constantly changing, staying adaptable, creative, and proactive is essential.
